Krasnodar hosts second ModaFest International Fashion Industry Exhibition

Vice-Governor, Alexander Ruppel, greeted attendees on behalf of the Governor of Krasnodar Region.

«The number of participants in the exhibition is growing. Today, more than 130 companies from our region, Volgograd, Rostov-on-Don, Moscow, the Donetsk People’s Republic, and other regions of Russia are represented here. The success of this event depends on our efforts. The first goal is to bring together all representatives of the southern Russian light industry in one place to build new partnerships. Our second task is to ensure industry professionals are fully informed about the region’s support programs,» said Ruppel, wishing attendees productive work and fruitful collaborations.

The Vice-Governor toured the booths of participating companies, speaking with leaders of Kuban sewing factories and designer ateliers. At the Krasnodar Region’s booth, organized by the Ministry of Industry and the Regional Industrial Development Fund, 18 companies showcased their products. The exhibit featured products from manufacturers of children’s and adult clothing, leather bags and accessories, as well as companies engaged in contract manufacturing.

The ModaFest exhibition will run until May 23 at the Expograd Yug Exhibition and Congress Center. The event is organized by the Ministry of Industrial Policy and the Regional Industrial Development Fund, with MVK as the exhibition operator. It is supported by the Krasnodar city administration, the regional government, and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.
