Kuban’s wine exports grow by a third in 2025

Companies in Krasnodar Region exported 414,400 liters of wine products from January to May 2025. This is a 35.3% increase compared to the same period last year, when exports totaled 306,100 liters, according to Delovaya Gazeta. Yug, citing the press service of the regional Ministry of Agriculture and Processing Industry.

The ministry reports that Krasnodar companies most often export their wine products to neighboring countries such as Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Abkhazia, Azerbaijan, and Tajikistan, as well as to China, Thailand, Israel, the UAE, and others.

As of early April, Krasnodar Region had 96 wine companies in operation. The region also features nine zones with protected designation of origin status and 21 designated terroirs, the ministry added.
